Can you tell me about your Price Cap Insurance Premium?
Traditionally, we would buy heating oil to cover the needs of our customers, and then buy a financial “hedge,” or insurance policy, to protect ourselves if the market prices fall below our purchase price. If the price does fall, we will exercise our insurance premium option and purchase oil at the lower price.
Our price cap protection protects you from volatility in oil pricing. If you are on our cap protection program, no matter how high oil prices go, your price will not exceed the price protection rate on your contract. If our prices fall, your price will decrease accordingly.
Does your heating oil contain additives?
Our heating oil contains some additives used to maintain the health of oil tanks and prevent issues of excess sludging.
Does your propane contain additives?
Yes, our propane gas contains Mercaptin, an additive that creates a detectable odor for safety purposes.
How long does it take from the time I place my order to when I receive my delivery?
We promise you delivery within two to three business days; however, sometimes we can deliver more quickly.
Do you accept credit cards?
Yes, you can pay for your order with a credit card in our office, over the phone, or online.
How are oil and gas prices determined?
Their prices originate from the mercantile exchange. Since it is a free market, supply and demand causes their daily market prices to either increase or decrease. Numerous environmental and global factors also affect the cost.
What is the minimum delivery order?
Our minimum delivery is 100 gallons.
What is your service area?
Our service area is about a 25-mile radius from our office in Kennett Square, PA 19348. To see whether we service your location, visit our service area page.
Do you offer bilingual customer service?
Yes, we can accommodate both English- and Spanish-speaking customers.
Do you fill propane gas cylinders at your office?
Yes, we have a propane-filling station at our office in Kennett Square, PA 19348.
Do you service fuel equipment?
Yes, we fully-service all of the fuel equipment that we supply to our customers; however, we do not service fuel equipment that we did not supply to a customer.
Do you offer any discounts?
Yes, we offer a 5-cent-per-gallon discount to customers who pay within 10 days of delivery. We also offer quantity discounts on deliveries of more than 1,000 gallons.
Do you offer budget plans or payment plans?
Yes, we offer a budget plan that splits your fuel bill into 12 equal monthly payments.
How do I establish an automatic delivery schedule?

What are your normal business hours?
Our normal business hours are 8 a.m.–5 p.m., Monday through Friday, and November through March we are also open on Saturdays from 8 a.m.–12 p.m.
Can I reach a customer service representative after normal business hours?
Yes, we offer 24/7 emergency heating service.
Do you offer service contracts?
Yes, we offer two (2) service plans for heating oil systems. Please see our Heating Service Plans page for more information.
How does your Cap Program price differ from a lock-in price?
Our Cap Program price is the maximum price that you will pay for your oil if the market price exceeds our Cap Program price. A lock-in price is the amount you would have to pay regardless of whether the market price increases or decreases. Our Cap Program is better than a lock-in because it protects you from overpaying for your oil when the market price decreases.
Do you participate in Low Income Home Energy Assistance Programs (LIHEAP)?
Yes, we do. Please contact one of our customer service representatives for more information on how we can help you.
Do you deliver diesel or kerosene to off-road locations?
Yes, we deliver diesel to off-road locations on Fridays.
Do you do bulk delivery?
Yes, we do. Please contact one of our customer service representatives to arrange your bulk delivery.
